Zillow Group announced that the appointment of April Underwood to the company's Board. Underwood is VP of product at Slack. She joined Slack as head of platform in June 2015. Underwood also is a founding member of #Angels. From 2010 until 2015, Underwood led product, marketing and business development teams as director of product at Twitter.

Google reorganizes itself into a new holding company, Alphabet, whose largest wholly owned subsidiary will be Google. Google Co-Founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin will be Alphabet’s CEO and President, respectively. Eric Schmidt will be the Executive Chairman of Alphabet. SVP of Corporate Development, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Google David C. Drummond will be the Chief Legal Officer and Secretary. The company’s Chief Business Officer, Omid Kordistani, will step down and become an adviser to Alphabet and Google.
Famed Security Researcher Leaves Google to Join Federal Cybersecurity Efforts; Google Glass Exec is New CEO at Evernote
Peiter “Mudge” Zatko, a respected computer security researcher, is leaving Google ATAP to explore ways to help U.S. government make software more secure. A former researcher with DARPA, the research arm of the U.S. Department of Defense, he joined Google along with fellow DARPA alum Regina Dugan to work on security research at the search giant’s Advanced Technologies and Projects Group.
Facebook Hardware Chief Leaves to Build a Storage Startup
Frank Frankovsky, Facebook’s VP of hardware design and supply chain, plans to leave the company. Frankovsky, a Facebook veteran of the past four-and-a-half years, rose from directing Facebook’s server hardware design efforts to become a VP. He was instrumental in founding Facebook’s Open Compute Project, an initiative that invites hardware community collaboration and the open sharing of data center design specifications. In Frankovsky’s absence, Director of Infrastructure Jason Taylor will assume responsibility for leading the supply chain and hardware design teams at Facebook.

Google's VP of Product Management for Android, Hugo Barra, is leaving the company. Barra is joining Chinese company Xiaomi as Head of the company's International Business Development. During his five years stint at Google, Barra had been the constant public face of Android. Xiaomi, which entered smartphone segment just two years ago, recently displaced Apple in China.
Google Names New Asia Boss
Google named Karim Temsamani, 39, as head of the Asian-Pacific region. He replaces Daniel Alegre, who now oversees Google’s operations with its various global business partners. Temsamani was most recently the VP of New Products and Solutions for the Americas. Formerly he was VP of Global Mobile and Managing Director for Australia.
