Texas Instruments Appoints Lennox International Chair/CEO as Board MemberTodd M. Bluedorn

Texas Instruments announced that Todd M. Bluedorn has been elected to the company's board of directors. Bluedorn is chairman of the board and CEO of Lennox International. Before joining the company, Bluedorn, held a number of senior management positions at United Technologies Corporation, including president of three different businesses.

Adobe CAO to Retire

Adobe announced that retirement of Richard Rowley as Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Adobe following 10 years of service. Rowley currently expects to remain in his role until January 31, 2017. Rowley has been the Chief Accounting Officer, VP and Controller at Adobe since November 2006. Rowley was previously employed as Treasurer, CAO, VP & Controller by Synopsys.

Microsoft Announces Multiple Key Executive Changes        

Microsoft announced a broad reorganization of the company's senior executive ranks as long-time COO Kevin Turner prepares to leave for another job. Instead of naming a new COO, the company appointed two executives to divvy up the sales responsibilities and report to him. Jean-Philippe Courtois will be in charge of global sales, marketing and operations spanning Microsoft's 13 business areas. Judson Althoff will lead the worldwide commercial business, including government and small and medium-sized businesses.

SAP appointed Christian Klein, 35, as COO and Thomas Saueressig, 31, as CIO. In his role as SAP chief controlling officer he is also responsible for SAPs Group Controlling and oversees the company's growth and profitability strategy. Klein joined SAP as a student in 1999.

Salesforce named Vice Chairman and President Keith Block, 54, its COO. Keith Block will continue to serve as vice chairman and president and serve as a member of Salesforce's board. Prior to joining Salesforce, Block served as Oracle's EVP of North America Sales and Consulting, leading a multi-billion dollar sales and services business-unit that achieved record revenue and margin during his tenure.

Renée J. James, 51, joined the board of directors of Oracle. James was previously the President of Intel. James has a 25 plus year career at Intel. James Staten, a veteran industry analyst who covered the cloud computing market for Forrester Research, is joining Microsoft as chief strategist for its Cloud & Enterprise group, to help in a highly competitive part of the industry. Staten has been with Forrester since 2007 as VP and principal analyst. He started his career as a journalist before becoming an analyst with Gartner in 1996, has worked at tech companies in the past, including Azul Systems and Sun Microsystems, where he was a director of marketing.

Google Goes Through Leadership Changes at Google X and Google+ UnitsMary Lou Jepsen

Google X Display Division head Mary Lou Jepsen is joining Oculus, the virtual reality startup that Facebook acquired last year. Jepsen specialized in digital displays at Google, including an advanced project centered on combining multiple independent screens into one fluid image, something that’s certainly in the same vein as virtual reality. She is also co-founder and former CTO of the non-profit One Laptop Per Child, which aims to reduce the cost of laptops for children in Third World countries.
