Colgate named Lorrie Norrington, 55, Operating Partner, Lead Edge Capital, to its board. Prior to joining Lead Edge, she served as President of Global eBay Marketplaces, COO of eBay Marketplaces and President of eBay International, in Europe and Asia. Prior to joining eBay, she held senior positions at Intuit and held a number of global roles at General Electric over an almost 20-year period.

Apple Creates New VP Role for Environment, Policy and Social InitiativesLisa Jackson

Apple named Lisa Jackson as its VP of environment, policy and social initiatives. Jackson, who previously served as administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, joined Apple two years ago to head up its environmental initiatives. That role is now broadened. She will also be in charge of the company's education policy programs, its product accessibility work and government affairs.

SAP Names New President to Head Latin America Organization; Marketing Exec Joins HortonworksClaudio Muruzabal

SAP has appointed Claudio Muruzabal as the new president for SAP Latin America & the Caribbean (LAC). Muruzabal was previously CEO of NEORIS. With more than 25 years in the IT industry, Muruzabal successfully lead the evolution of NEORIS from being the IT branch of CEMEX, to becoming a global fast growth business and IT consulting company. During his 10 year tenure, NEORIS achieved global partner status with SAP. Previously, Muruzabal served as VP of NCR’s Teradata for Latin America and the Caribbean, and also held numerous executive positions throughout his 17 year career at NCR.

GE appoints Harel Kodesh, 56, as VP, CTO, GE Software. Kodesh joined GE from Nurego, where he served as CEO and founder. He served as an EVP at VMWare and President of Cloud Infrastructure Business and CEO of Digital Echo at EMC. He served as the CEO of Decho, CEO of Mozy, Chief Product Officer of Amdocs, President and CEO of Wingcast Corporation, a joint venture between the Ford Motor Company and Qualcomm, VP of the Productivity Appliance Division and VP of the Information Appliances Division at Microsoft.

Kraft Foods’ CFO Joins Microsoft’s Board

Kraft Foods’ EVP and CFO Teri List-Stoll, 51, is joining as board member of Microsoft. List-Stoll joined Kraft in September 2013 as SVP leading the business unit finance teams.  She was appointed CFO in the end of 2013. She came to Kraft after nearly 20 years at Procter & Gamble, where she most recently served as SVP and Treasurer.  She started with P&G in 1994 and prior to that, was a fellow with the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), and spent six years at Deloitte & Touche, providing financial counsel to large multinational companies.

Larry Ellison Steps Down as Oracle CEO‏ to accept Chairman and CTO Roles; Mark Hurd and Safra Catz Named Co-CEOs Larry Ellison

Lawrence J. “Larry” Ellison, 70, is stepping down from his position as CEO of Oracle, to become the company's Executive Chairman and CTO. Oracle promoted both Co-Presidents Safra Ada Catz, 52, and Mark Vincent Hurd, 57, as Co-CEOs, to replace Ellison. Jeff O. Henley, 69, Oracle’s Chairman for the last 10 years, was named Vice Chairman.

Sprint Names New CEO Marcelo Claure

Marcelo Claure, 43, the CEO of Brightstar, will replace Dan Hesse, 60, as CEO of Sprint. Brightstar is part of Softbank of Japan, which bought 70% of Sprint last year. Claure built Brightstar into the world's largest distributor of cellphones by convincing cellphone carriers that they're better off outsourcing that side of the business.
