Kleiner Perkins’ Chief Product Officer Resigns from Amazon Board; Appoints Head of Its Seattle Game-Production StudioWilliam B. Gordon

William B. Gordon, 66, resigned as a director of Amazon after fourteen years on the board. Gordon stepped down so he could provide consulting services to the company for two years. Gordon is currently the Chief Product Officer at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Bing also leads KPCB’s sFund, the investment initiative to fund and build applications and services that deliver on the promise of the social web.

Google Appoints Board Member and CEO of New Acquisition bebop as SVP; Makes Multiple Promotions   Diane B. Greene    

Google will acquire bebop Technologies and appoints the CEO, board member, and a stockholder of bebop, Diane B. Greene, 59, as SVP of Google. Greene has been Google’s non-independent director and will continue to serve on the Google board. Greene had been one of the founders of VMware, the company that more or less introduced the world to the concept of virtualization. She started the company with her husband Mendel Rosenblum and was its CEO for about 10 years, which included about four years after its acquisition by EMC, and saw it through the IPO.

Visa Adds Brocade's CEO as DirectorLloyd A. Carney

Visa elected Lloyd A. Carney, 53, as a new independent director. Carney is CEO and a director of networking communications company Brocade since January 2013. Prior to Brocade, he was CEO and a director of Xsigo Systems, an IT and hardware company; CEO and chairman of Micromuse, a networking management software company, acquired by IBM; and held senior leadership roles at Juniper Networks, Nortel Networks and Bay Networks.

Google Executives Join Facebook, Dropbox, Uber and ClouderaFrank Lawrence

Facebook has hired Frank Lawrence, Google’s Chief Compliance Officer, in an unknown role. At Google his responsibilities included compliance program design and implementations for all new products using Google Payments and features to optimize the user experience and mitigate fraud and compliance risks.

J.Crew CEO Millard “Mickey” Drexler, 70, who has served on the Board since 1999, notified the Board of his intention to retire at the end of his current term. His role will end in March; no one has been named to fill the vacancy. In addition to his position on Apple’s board, Drexler has been the CEO of J.Crew since 2003. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Gap.

Before that she had responsibility of ASEAN, Baby Care, Fabric Conditioners, Laundry Products, etc. She has been a Director of Corning since 2013.

Google Appoints SVP of all Google products; Couple of Senior Execs LeaveSundar Pichai

Sundar Pichai, SVP, Android, Chrome and Apps has been promoted as SVP of all Google products. This excludes YouTube. Earlier, Pichai served as VP of Product Management joining Google in 2004. Before that, he held various engineering and product management positions at Applied Materials, and was a Management Consultant with McKinsey for a variety of software and semiconductor clients. He served as a Director of Jive Software as a Member of Board of Advisors at Ruba.

Google Appoints Former Ford CEO to Board; Chief Business Officer Leaves

Google appointed former CEO of Ford Motor from 2006 to 2014, Alan Mulally, 68, to board, bringing expertise and connections as Google seeks to play a bigger role in automobiles with its Android software and self-driving car technology. Before Ford, Mulally served as EVP of the Boeing Company and President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Prior to that, he served as President of Boeing's space and defense business. He is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering and a fellow of England's Royal Academy of Engineering.

RBS's ex-boss in US, Ellen Alemany, Joins FIS’ BoardEllen Alemany

Fidelity National Information Services appoints Ellen Alemany, 58, to its board. A former head of RBS Americas, and Chair and CEO of RBS' Citizens Financial Group, Alemany has more than 35 years of experience in the financial industry. In 2007, Alemany joined as Head of RBS Americas, and Chair and CEO of RBS' Citizens Financial Group, and served as a consultant to the company until her retirement in 2013. Beginning as Area Head of Citibank's NY Leveraged Capital Group, she grew to CEO of Global Transaction Services at the firm and spent five years on the board of Citigroup North America. Alemany began her career in Operations at Chase Manhattan before being recruited to Citibank in 1987. She has served on the boards of ADP since 2011 and CIT Group since early 2014.

Intel Appoints Workday CEO to Board Aneel Bhusri

Intel appointed Aneel Bhusri, 48, co-founder and CEO of Workday, to serve on the company's board. Bhusri co-founded Workday in 2005 and served as its co-CEO from 2009 and chairman from 2012 until May of this year, when he was named sole CEO. In addition, Bhusri serves as a partner at Greylock Partners, a venture capital firm. Previously, he held a number of leadership positions at PeopleSoft, including SVP responsible for product strategy, business development and marketing, and vice chairman of the board.
