Lawrence Tomlinson, 75, intends to retire from the board of Salesforce. Tomlinson served as SVP and treasurer for Hewlett-Packard until 2003. Tomlinson has a broad global financial and administrative background that includes expertise in controllership, tax, treasury, order fulfillment, information technology, distribution, logistics and financial strategic alliances.

David Sacks, Corporate VP of Office Division left. Sacks is social enterprise start-up Yammer’s founder and former CEO, which was acquired by Microsoft for $1.2 billion. Silicon Valley entrepreneur and investor Blake Krikorian, 44, has quit the board of Amazon.com about a year and a half after joining. He has now joined Microsoft as Corporate VP for its Interactive Entertainment Business. Krikorian is the founder of id8 Group Holdings, a technology consulting and incubation firm, where he has served as CEO. He was the co-founder of Sling Media, a digital television technology company that was acquired by EchoStar Holding in 2007, and served as its Chairman and CEO.

Microsoft Appoints P&G Exec to lead Retail Sales and Marketing and Perceptive Pixel Founder as New GM

Microsoft appointed Stephen Schueler as Corporate VP of Retail Sales and Marketing. In his position, Schueler will be responsible for driving demand through global retail partners and ensuring customers receive a great service experience. Schueler joins Microsoft from Procter & Gamble, where he most recently served as General Manager for the Global Retail Operations Group responsible for global merchandising, promotion, and the third-party selling organizations. He will report to Chris Capossela, Chief Marketing Officer for Microsoft.
