BNY Mellon Appoints President of SAP North America as Director
The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation has elected Jennifer B. Morgan as independent director. Morgan has served as President of SAP North America since 2014, where she is responsible for the company’s strategy, revenue and customer success in the U.S. and Canada. Since being named President, she has led SAP’s rapid shift to the cloud in North America while helping customers achieve growth in the digital economy. Morgan served in a number of leadership roles for SAP since joining the company in 2004, including as head of SAP North America’s public sector organization and president of its Regulated Industries business unit.
HDFC Bank Appoints Former CTO of Aadhaar as Board Member
India based HDFC Bank appointed Srikanth Nadhamuni as Director on the Board of the Bank. Nadhamuni has been appointed as a Director having expertise in the field of IT. He was the CTO of Aadhaar (UID authority of India) during 2009-2012 and is currently chairman of Novopay Solutions.
Public Utility Company Appoints CEO of Avid Technology as Director
Electricity supplier Edison International and Southern California Edison announced that Louis Hernandez, Jr. has been elected to the board of directors of each company. Hernandez, is chairman, president and CEO of Avid Technology, a provider of solutions used by media organizations and creative professionals. Prior to joining Avid in 2013, Hernandez was the chairman and CEO of Open Solutions, a technology provider to financial institutions worldwide. He is a proven growth-oriented executive who has founded, operated or invested in technology companies focused on Sports and Media, e-Commerce and Financial Services.
Hasbro Adds Former CFO of King Digital as Director
Toy and board game company Hasbro announced that Hope Cochran, former CFO of King Digital, to the company’s board of directors. Cochran joined King Digital in 2013 as CFO. Prior, she served as CFO of Spring subsidiary Clearwire.
Hertz Appoints Recently Retired UPS Chief Information and Global Business Services Officer to Board
David Barnes, 60, who recently announced his retirement from United Parcel Service, where he served as SVP, chief information and global business services officer, was elected as a new member of the Hertz board. Barnes is continuing with UPS in a transitional capacity. He also chaired the UPS Information Technology Governance Committee, which is responsible for overseeing the direction of UPS technology investments.
Union Pacific Corporation Elects Director with Expertise in Cyber Security and Public Policy Matters
Union Pacific Corporation elected Jane H. Lute, 59, to serve on the Board. Lute most recently served as the CEO of the Center for Internet Security, an international non-profit organization focused on enhancing cyber security readiness and response for the public and private sectors. Lute served as the President and CEO of the Council on Cybersecurity from 2013 to 2015. Prior to this position, she served as the Deputy Secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2009 until 2013.
Capital One Appoints Former Amazon CISO to Board
American bank holding company Capital One Financial Corporation announced that Tom Killalea, an experienced technological innovator, and the former Chief Information Security Officer at Amazon.com, to a newly created seat on the Board. Killalea has been an advisor to private technology-driven companies since November 2014. He also serves on the boards of Orreco and of MongoDB, and is on the Advisory Board of Profitero.
Amazon Exec Joins as Director of Kingfisher
British multinational retailing company Kingfisher plc announced the appointment of Rakhi Parekh, 41, as a non-executive director of the Company. Parekh having spent 11 years at Amazon.com in various roles from 2002-14, most recently was Director, UK Media at Amazon, responsible for ranges such as books, music and DVDs. Prior to joining Amazon, Parekh held roles at TomTom (wireless products) and in management consultancy in the United States.

Mondelēz Appoints NIKE’s Ecommerce Exec to Board
The confectionery, food and beverage conglomerate Mondelēz International appointed Christiana Shi, 56, to its Board of Directors. Shi is President, Direct-to-Consumer for NIKE, with oversight for Nike Stores, Nike Factory Stores and Global Digital Commerce, which includes leading all of Nike’s e-commerce business around the world. Prior to that, she was COO, Global Direct to Consumer (DTC) at NIKE. She joined NIKE from McKinsey.
Retired Lockheed IT Exec Joins Home Depot Board
The Home Depot named Linda R. Gooden, 62, to the company's board of directors. Gooden, who retired in 2013 from Lockheed Martin Corporation as EVP, Information Systems & Global Solutions, has an extensive background in information technology, cybersecurity, operations and finance. As EVP, she expanded Lockheed's IT capabilities beyond government customers to international and commercial markets. She also served as president of Lockheed's IT division from 1997 to 2006, which she grew into a multi-billion dollar business.
